About

My name is Kristian Gotsch. I have a great interest in both sports and customer centric approaches. Back in 2008 I decided to set up Loyalsticity which is intended to be a research initiative focusing on bringing together the best from the world of sports and the world of customer centric strategies – simply because I think that the area is lacking some insight and focus. This has led to various articles and many great discussions with people of various backgrounds, interest areas and ideas. Moving forward, it is my intention to explore and analyse the various areas of relationship development with fans, spectators and other stakeholders within the world of sport. With social media gaining ground, an ever increasing amount of entertainment possibilities and some great lessons learned from the business world in relation to customer centric strategies, there is still a lot of opportunities ahead - all of which could result in the fact that sports fans as well as sport clubs get the best results and experiences out of their relationships with one another.

Professionally I work as CRM Manager at the Eredivisie (Dutch Premier League) and also function as Vice President of the European Lacrosse Federation. Prior to joining the Eredivisie, I held various CRM positions at PwC, Microsoft and T-Mobile.

Besides writing and discussing ideas and concepts I enjoy speaking and presenting and have had the pleasure to do so at events from Iceland to South Africa incl. Gartner CRM Summit, Gartner CRM Symposium and Microsoft Convergence.

At the Global Sports Forum 2011 in Barcelona, I was selected as one of the official bloggers to cover the event.

This is a personal rather than a corporate blog. My opinions reflect my own views rather than necessarily those of my employer.
