This is a great point! In the States, there are cycling kits branded as NHL team jerseys; why not for other sports? And why not continue that trend into running apparel? I know plenty of runners who would be interested in proudly flaunting their favorite team as they run.

many clubs have their athletic sport runners section and i can tell you that barcelona footoball club you can find it everywere …they sell cups shoes ,forks knifes and all kind of things with that name ,they have a great marketing business BUT if you first see wich smaller football club have runners fans an no running skirt it could be a great idea… i run independent (for now )and many people in popular race have no brand skirt…

This is a very shrewd observation, Kristian! Running is still a growing market and it does make a sense for football brands to tap into it. And it could even go further than running…I can imagine also cycling could make a big pool of avid football fans.
